His latest film Bodyguard is gearing up for Eid release. Salman Khan is paired up with Kareena Kapoor in Bodyguard, directed by Siddique. The original version of this film was a blockbuster in Malayalam and Tamil cinema also released a remake of Malayalam Bodyguard year back but now Director Siddique and Atul Agnihotri Salman Khan’s gijo took Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in a lead role to release same story in Hindi.
Bodyguard 2011 story based on a person who love to become a Bodyguard of leading personalities and business tycoons, Salman Khan playing role of that person. Bodyguard revolves around young Lovely Singh (Salman Khan), who has a very strange habit to adulate anyone with a trace of heroism. Whenever he develops an admiration towards a person, he prefers to move with that person as a sort of bodyguard. He starts admiring Ashokan, a former liquor tycoon and leading businessman. Lovely wants to be Ashokan's bodyguard, but Ashokan does not need a bodyguard. Later, Lovely approaches Ashokan with a recommendation from someone he cannot refuse. He achieves his luck after saving Ashokan from danger.Ashokan doesn’t need a bodyguard so he assigns Lovely to become the bodyguard of his daughter(Kareena). Lovely follows Kareena to her college as her bodyguard.Kareena and her friend Rose gets irritated with him following them all day.
The two girls started making fake calls to Lovely's number, trying to get rid of him. Kareena calls him and pretends that she is very much in love with him. At first things goes smoothly but later Lovely starts loving the girl who calls him as 'PRIVATE NUMBER' and eventually Kareena starts to love him.Later Lovely decides to leave the city with her after their college examination and Rose encourages Kareena to meet Salman at the railway station to reveal her identity.But things get confusing, Ashokan somehow finds out that Lovely and his daughter are planning to run away together.In order to save Lovely's life kareena lies that it's not her.That Lovely is meeting another girl at the station.Ashokan lets Lovely go, but tells others to kill him if a girl does not show up.Terrified, Ashokan's daughter sends her friend to the station and tells her to inform Lovely that she is the lover and she won't be able to make it to the station.But her friend seeing Lovely, falls in love with him and lies that she is the lover.Kareena calls her twice, but She throws her cellphone out, trying to erase Kareena out of their love life completely.Years later, after their marriage, she gives birth to a son.Before her death, she leaves a diary for her son telling the whole story between the phone calls and about his father and Kareena. The son later goes to Kareena's house with Lovely(Salman) to visit Ashokan.Kareena is still not married.The son asks Kareena to become his mother and Lovely is shocked and angry at his son for saying that.But Ashokan begs Lovely to take Kareena as his wife.So they leave for the railway station together but the son runs and throws the diary into a dustbin nearby.Lovely finds the diary and realizes that his real lover, the girl who's waited for him for so many years faithfully, was Kareena.
Now Salman Khan able to achieve his love or Ashokan will never make this happen?
Last year Eid belonged to Salman Khan as Dabangg set the box office on fire.
