Jeff, Who Lives at Home is film directed and written by Jay and Mark Duplass, and starring Jason Segel and Ed Helms, and co-starring Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon. The film premiered on September 14, 2011 at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.

The film is about two brothers, Jeff and Pat (played by Segel and Helms, respectively), one a 30 year-old still living in his parents' basement, the other struggling with a failed marriage.

Jeff does indeed live at home with his mother (Susan Sarandon), and he spends most of his days alternately doing nothing and looking for some kind of sign as to what he should be doing. His big brother, Pat (Ed Helms), thinks he's a moron and doesn't want to spend much time with him, which is hard on the already very lonely Jeff. However, over the course of one day, Jeff and Pat are forced to team up to uncover the truth of Pat's wife's possible infidelity through a series of mishaps. However "indie wacky!" that plot might sound, "Jeff Who Lives at Home" is really something quite different. It's the most charming film the Duplasses have made yet, unexpectedly heartwarming and sincere with just the right amount of everyday magic.
